The Cascade UI holds a full DRIVING record per employee (Licence Type, Licence No, Start Date, End Date, On DAVIS System, Licence Document attachments, Start Date New, End Date New) which is critical for any organisation operating drivers under O-licence, PHV, or PSV regulation.
Allows automated propagation of DVLA expiry dates into operational systems (e.g. dispatch/booking platforms like Cordic, Aquarius)
Removes duplicate data entry — HR currently maintains licence data in Cascade, and operations re-enters it elsewhere
Enables automated compliance dashboards and pre-expiry alerting
Eliminates the risk of a driver being scheduled with an expired licence due to two systems being out of sync
Cascade doesn't have a native screen for storing driving license information in, further reviews show this to be a User Defined Screen which can be accessed via our User Defined Fields endpoint.
